Even with no claims, they draw funds form your account for years and decades on end. Any you never ask them for anything. You’ll be happier if you get online quotes. It’s so easy and hassle free.

Shop Around for a Lower Car Insurance Quote

Compare Car Insurance Rates

If you’re not comparing auto insurance rates, you’re giving away money. In fact, car insurance shopping is the only way to can substantially lower your premiums and get better converage.  This post will convince you and give you some new options.

You get lower auto insurance by comparing quotes from different vehicle insurance companies. There are a lot of them out there.  There’s big and small insurance companies and independent brokers looking for your business.

Will you save on insurance for electric vehicles?

Rising auto insurance isn’t a local issue. Car insurance rates are rising everywhere but it appears consumers are apathetic about it. If you look at the price charts below you’ll see how much people expend for auto insurance.

Self-driving cars could raise auto insurance rates for you and I, since those autonomous car companies would negotiate their own low rate coverage. They’ll save plenty, but you will have to negotiate your own insurance rate.

The insurance companies are awash in cash now however they’re facing tough times as their own pool of revenue erodes and claim payouts rise. Switching insurance companies might be a wise move. Consider this stat:

The average auto insurance premium in Ontario, Canada is $1,458, which is almost 55% higher than the average of all other Canadian jurisdictions — from a Globe & Mail report.

It’s 2017 and time to take massive action to save money. Have you investigated UBI or usage based auto insurance? Check out the auto insurance rate quotes for your city or state below.

Get the best auto insurance quotes in Toronto, Vancouver, Los Angeles, San Diego, Miami, Phoenix, Denver, Boston, New York and other cities where consumers are fed up.  We’re all paying too much to insure our cars, SUVs and trucks. It’s hard earned dollars ($10,000) that you’re giving away but now that can change.  Has your loyalty to one insurance company done much for you?

Look back at the last 20 years of auto insurance coverage you purchased (e.g., 20 x 12 x $150 = $36,150).  Could you use that money right now?

It’s a Great Time to Switch Auto Insurance Companies

Bentley EV  – Luxury Car Insurance

Yes, switching insurance companies is a wise financial choice.  There are videos, charts, infographics and quote comparisons below that will open your eyes. When it comes to finding the lowest insurance rates, and a better policy, this might be a good starting point.  It’s best to do lots of searching and get a wide variety of quotes from insurers.  Just through persistence alone, you’ll get the best rates.  You could save $10,000 over 6 years or as much as $1800 in one year.

Do you Need Collector or Luxury Car Insurance?

Here’s an auto insurance niche where you can get more price and appropriate quotes for your Porsche, Mercedes Benz, Ferrari, Lamborhghini, Bentley, Rolls Royce, or Maserati.

I’m sure you’ll find the auto insurance quote comparisons below an eye opener.
According to one source, the average price of auto insurance across the US is $1100 to $1200 per year — that leaves lots of room for you to start saving!

Virginia has become the 19th state to ban consumer price gouging – Consumeraffairs.com – fair warning that you are probably getting taken.

Searching for Insurance via Google

Google is certainly fast and you’ll get better rates than from an insurance agency in Los Angeles, Boston, Phoenix, San Francisco, San Diego, Seattle, New York, Indianapolis, Detroit, Philadelphia, or Chicago. Within seconds you can be on an insurance company website and buy an auto insurance policy. I’d advise looking first to the auto insurance comparison sites before you decide on an insurance company and take their coverage.  That’s particularly true if you’re buying luxury auto insurance.

Not all of the big name companies such as Allstate, Progressive, Geico, Nationwide, State Farm, Mercury, StateFarm, and others offer great rates or the coverage you actually need. I know from my own searches that I tend not to be thorough enough. I get restless and frustrated and settle for a higher auto insurance quote than I should. I want to help you optimize your quest for the lowest auto policy.

My Car Insurance Quote

I conducted a search directly on the insurer’s websites of Geico, Progressive, Statefarm, Liberty Mutual, Mercury, Allstate, AAA and Farmers. In the chart below, you can see the quote for a 40 year old male living in Santa Ana, California, driving a 2010 Hyudai Santa Fe 4 dr sedan to work 30 miles away daily, and having one non bodily injury accident (hit a car). We need an example to analyze an auto insurance quote, so let’s take a quick look at this one.

Statefarm’s auto quote was about $1300 less per year than Liberty Mutual’s. Over 6 years, that translates to $7800 in savings if I chose Statefarm.  Further below, I sought quotes via insurance hotline and the variation was bigger.  With your own search, you may find one local insurance company who may be willing to insure you at much less.

Is a  40 year old driver with one accident statistically that risky? Obviously Liberty Mutual, Statefarm, and AAA believe there is huge risk. Each company processes the statistics differently, and they’re entitled to. However, are they being reasonable about it. Is the auto quote abnormally high?

Some of these companies make you fill out endless questions, some of which you have to wonder are even legal. I liked Progressive’s online auto insurance quote process the best.  It was quick and the least painful. They seem to respect your time the most. Their quote was a little higher than Allstate and Statefarm, but I suspect Progressive has a better corporate culture — a signal of how they’ll treat you after becoming their customer.

Here’s another example auto insurance quote for a 2014 Hyundai Santa Fe, 4 door, for a 48 year old male with one ticket. See the huge difference in quotes from individual brokerages?  That’s right, in this case there are two Aviva brokerages competing. The lowest quote was  from Travelers insurance. It equates to $1700 savings per year and more than $10,000 over 6 years. That’s a significant amount.

Just in case you’re curious, here is Insure.com’s rankings of States for car insurance policies for one year.

Cheapest Cars, Truck and SUVs to Insure

Are you looking for the cheapest auto insurance?  Check out usage based insurance and consider buying an old car. Here’s Yahoo’s list of the cheapest cars and SUV’s to insure:

1. Honda Odyssey LX – annual insurance premium: $1113 per year.

2. Honda CR-V LX – annual insurance premium:  $1,170.

3. Dodge Grand Caravan – annual car insurance premium $1,174.

4. Jeep Wrangler Sport – annual car insurance premium $1,181.

5. Jeep Compass Sport 2WD – annual car insurance premium $1,190

6. Ford Escape S 2WD – annual car insurance premium $1,194.

7. Buick Encore Sport Tour 2WD – annual car insurance premium $1,200.

8. Jeep Cherokee Base 2WD – annual car insurance premium $1,203.

9. Nissan Frontier S King Cab – annual car insurance premium $1,204

Here’s something to think about to motivate you: a savings of almost $1000. How long does it take you to earn $1000 x the next 4 years = $4000. Because, insurance buyers tend to be loyal (or just lazy) and stick with the insurance company that’s sticking it to them. If that’s you, then, spend a whole afternoon or evening searching for a lower auto insurance quote. Save your money.

A survey by carinsurance.com (they do these studies for PR and for wider exposure in social media and Google) so take it with a grain of salt.  Carinsurance.com stated that in California, the average annual premium across the six top carriers was $1,428 (significantly higher than national average of $1,277). The cheapest car insurance averaged an amazing 33% less, at $960.

The Type of Car you Drive is a Key Factor

You may not realize that the insurance companies offer cheaper insurance for a certain type or brand of vehicle. Jeeps for instance have very cheap rates. Why? Who knows?  They’re not divulging anything that will cause them to lose profit. Obviously, your age, sex, and recent driving record will determine if you can get those best rates. Are new electric cars like the Tesla Model 3, Chevy Volt or Nissan Leaf the way to go?

Sacramento Housing Predictions | Current Market Update and Forecast for 2018 2019

Sacramento Housing Market in 2018

Is 2018/2019 looking strong for the Sacramento housing market? Consensus is yes. It may be hurtling at top-speed toward peak San Franciscification as one report has it.

The US and California economies look good and with President Trump pushing for fair trade agreements, it can only produce more GDP growth, upward wage pressures and further reawakening of the American dream, long since abandoned in the last 11 years.

And even with NASDAQ and corporate tech threatened, Silicon Valley is still the lightning rod of the American revival.

Yet, there are other ways to view the Bay area outlook.  Are peristent regulations, interest rates, or the natural tail end of the housing cycle harbingers of doom? Could Sacramento’s market collapse in a larger national or California housing crash?

Experts are torn in their predictions because there are so many conflicting factors affecting all US housing markets from Los Angeles and San Francisco to Boston and Florida. The rising prices are the result of higher demand and low housing availability almost everywhere.

Sacramento Riverboat Cruises

Not in My Backyard Sentiment is Strong

And California is where the housing crisis is worst. Residents don’t want the inflation, immigration, higher taxes, congestion, pollution, water shortages, and crime that new developments might bring.

In fact a report in the San Jose Mercury News suggests California politicians are failing to approve housing development initiatives. That translates to higher home prices and apartment rental prices for 2018/2019 and beyond.

Relentless Growth in Housing

Some suggest these nationwide trends will drive all markets from 2018 to 2020 — the demand in Sacramento County was just delayed. Is Sacramento worth it? It seems the lower prices is all that matters to most, however this area has a warm charm and excellent climate that many residents could never think of letting go of.

Yuba City and Sutter County Real Estate

The desperation of Sacramento residents is pushing them north to Yuba City and Sutter County to find bargain houses for sale.

See the Yuba City/Sutter County real estate update provided by Michele Swift. You’ll see all the local market details and comparisons with Sacramento.

Lifestyle factors, lack of availability, and affordability issues will drive home sales in Yuba City, Sutter County and other towns outside of Sacramento, and it’s worth a look up north.

Buyers from San Francisco and the Bay Area are still eagerly checking out Sacramento for bargains themselves. Realtor.com reports only 2770 homes are for sale on the MLS in Sacramento, a county of 2.4 million people.

Sac was the fastest growing city in the nation last year with a growth rate of 1.4% which accounts to a whopping 33,000 new residents.

Zillow reports that 89% of homes in Sacramento increased in value whereas only 7.4% of homes decreased in value. The monthly rent index grew 8.2% in the last year showing rental income property investment and speculation may be adding to the price pressure. For renters, who seek relief from $4,000+ rents in San Francisco, the $1500 price tag in Sacramento is alluring.

Sacramento’s Affordable Homes Draw

The current average home price in the city is $323,000 while Elk Grove and Roseville are priced at averages of $421,000 and $438,000 respectively.

To someone cashing out of the market in San Francisco, even these rising prices are very attractive.

This excellent chart agove from Zillow reveals exceptional price growth in Citrus Heights, Elk Grove, Fair Oaks, Florin, Orangevale, and Sacramento. El Dorado Hills and Rocklin recorded the lowest rates of price growth.

Realtor.com rated Sacramento as the 5th hottest housing market in the nation in February 2018, up from 8th spot in January. 14 of the top 20 were California cities. And the forecast for the state of California remains hot, including San Diego, San Francisco, San Jose, and Los Angeles.

A report in the Mercury news shows demand for homes in Sacramento is coming from the Bay Area. One estimate is that 120,000 Sacramento residents work in the Bay Area. This makes this new mega region very attractive for all sorts of innovative living and working solutions.

“Each year, nearly 20,000 Bay Area residents are resettling in cities stretching from Davis to Sacramento and further east to the Sierra foothills, according to census data analyzed by the Greater Sacramento Economic Council.” – San Jose Mercury News

Houses for Sale – Find Homes for Sale in Your City

Houses for Sale – Your Ultimate Source for Finding Homes for Sale

If you’ve read the housing forecast report, you know the availability of homes for sale is squeezed. A lot of properties aren’t even listed which will make it significantly difficult for you to find the property you’re dreaming of.

Real estate investors know fast about great homes for sale that offer the best investment value and there’s several ways they get first dibs on properties for sale.

Realtor Pocket Listings is one way they get connected to exclusive, quality houses. This is where the Realtor works both sides of a transaction and they keep the home listing to themselves hoping to broker it to their own pool of buyers. This works well in a market like we have now where houses for sale are rare.

Realtors will keep these listings quiet, so you need to be in contact with as many Realtors as possible, such as one from each major brokerage. The bottom line in finding your dream home or good investment property and houses for sale in your city is with a well rounded home search strategy.

Houses for Sale on the MLS

Remember that you may not see the best houses for sale on the MLS. You need to expand your search online using a variety of housing sources. Some services also do complex predictive analytics where they monitor social activity and other sources to find homebuyers and sellers who are exhibiting pre-sale behavior. This can be very good.

Realtor.com, Zillow, Remax, Trulia, Redfin, Coldwell Banker, Century 21, Sothebys, and Craigslist might be the way to go, to find houses for sale, but you’re kind of getting the leftovers. It’s like searching for a job using the classifieds. These are the awful jobs companies can’t fill so they advertise and go through the painful process of employee selection. That’s a grind.

Finding the Best Houses for Sale

With real estate, you’re looking for the best properties, the good stuff, that no one knows about. It’s better to find the best rather than toiling with a Realtor sorting through a limited supply. However, it’s wise to use a Realtor as part of your quest to find the best homes, houses, condos, townhouses, apartments or income investment properties from Los Angeles to San Diego to Florida. Use the Zillow Home Search Tool to get started!

Investors, while you’re at it, get educated about the national housing forecast, and find housing markets where there is a good upside potential for ROI. Don’t stick to your local market just because you live there. There’s more potential in the best cities.

Explore New Markets – Focusing on the Best Cities in the US and Canada

Is It Time to Grow Your Business?

Surveys show many companies are happy with their digital marketing teams and sales performance.  The economy is booming and times are good.

While things are so good, and you’re most able to expand, how outlandish would it be for you to explore new markets in the US and Canada? And over the next 6 months, you’ve got some time to build your business. And it’ll be fun.

Big Changes are Afoot

Globalization is moving more economic activity into major urban centers. A good example is Canada, where only the metro areas of Vancouver and Toronto are thriving. It’s the same in Massachusetts where Boston alone is thriving and it appears to be the same for other major US cities. This is what globalization does.

When you’ve drained the last bit of revenue in your city, it may be the right time to explore Vancouver, Los Angeles, San Diego, San Francisco and Silicon Valley, along with Seattle, Denver, Tampa, Miami, New York, Phoenix, or Boston.

Why burn yourself out in an exhausted market with thin margins? Fun, new, fresh and lucrative are better.

I’ve Done it Before Successfully. It’s Definitely Worth It

These are superb markets where I’ve served many clients in diverse industries.  The US cities such as Boston, Los Angeles, and San Diego in particular are a fantastic opportunity in volume and variety. An approach to deliver a fresh new service and approach they will love.

If you’re going to penetrate new markets, you must do it with focus on specific cities. A general approach, not adapted to the business and lifestyle in these cities won’t work.  If you want to capture Los Angeles, SD County, or the booming lower mainland of BC, you need to drill down and have someone there.

Certainly there are challenges in expansion, yet comparatively today, success is much more common. And it can be conducted efficiently, beginning with a strategic plan and testing approach. The payoff could be a 100% to 200% growth in sales. The growth in my own solo consulting business revenue was 600% with my best year at $180k.  For your business, the potential is obviously far higher.

From Los Angeles to Houston to Chicago and New York and Boston, to London UK, I’ve enjoyed developing new clients in many cities. It is a fun, fascinating and rewarding business opportunity.

Call me now at 416 998 6246 and to explore the opportunities.

Digital Marketing Audit

Digital Marketing Audit for Small Business

In all the years managing my own freelance business and while working with digital marketing agencies, I discovered that small business people are great at what they do. Unfortunately, they’re not experts in digital marketing which is a discipline exploding in complexity.

To Do List: A blueprint and a compass

My first recommendation for those who want to improve would be to get my SEO Content Strategy Book and secondly and more importantly, have a digital marketing assessment done. It’s a blueprint, foundation and compass for success.

The insight from a digital marketing audit can grow your confidence and give you focused path with your digital marketing strategy. It’s tough to have a strategy without a good study of your business and market opportunities.

Most SMB entrepreneurs wing it without a guide, and ironically most startups fail. How can you be confident if you’re unsure of what actually drives your online success or where you’re going?

♫Tell me Something Good♫

With understanding comes focus. Focus is an amazing emotional state where friction disappears and a feeling of wellness, clarity, and success appear. Focus is like taking a happy pill.  And this is where myself and your digital marketing audit comes into play – it generates focus, energy and a strategic plan of action. How can you not like that? And learning? You’ll discover a wealth of key insight that you can build on.

From a study of the elements that actually do impact your online success, you can decide whether you need a new content strategy, SEO services, or to use artificial intelligence marketing solutions, among other improvements.

An audit is a study of your situation and some suggestions about how to improve it. That’s excellent value when it’s all contained in one handy report!

An objective audit helps you discover your digital marketing problem, not to sell you a solution such as a marketing automation subscription. While tools are helpful, it’s almost certain that your content and outreach strategy are the issue. If you don’t discover what you’re doing wrong you won’t progress with something that will work.

The main point or purpose of your assessment is to create an actionable plan and strategy to grow your business. An audit focuses on issues that matter to performance

A website audit isn’t for finding duplicate meta tags and other unimportant facts. The main purpose to discover why you’re not getting traffic, not maximizing what you have, and discovering what’s missing. Here’s some of what I will examine in a detailed report, which by the way is much more than the “technical spidering report” you’ll see most often offered.

DM Audit Checklist:

  • Your company, UVP and market opportunity assessment – how are you positioned?
  • review of your top competitors and how they’re positioned
  • SWOT analysis – what strengths can bolster your digital content strategy?
  • where are you competitors getting their traffic from?

Content Audit

  • Identify anchor content
  • Identify supporting content
  • Identify main business/services pages
  • identify downloadables/sharable content
  • identify main content pathways and conversion success
  • assess copywriting and visual content
  • Assess site appearance and UX design – mobile, desktop, layout, scannability, speed
  • discuss copy tone of voice, content quality, vocabulary, information value
  • recommendations for improving all of the elements above

SEO Performance Assessment

  • assess keyword rankings
  • assess web traffic
  • assess search engine traffic
  • assess social media traffic
  • spider your site, find and assess technical website issues – speed, broken links, meta data, duplicate content, over-optimization, link penalties
  • setup/review your Google webmaster console issues and warnings
  • Assess: titles, headings, and Google SERPs snippets, etc
  • assess backlinks, keyword reputation, domain authority
  • recommendations for improving all of the elements above

I don’t assess video, web design coding, email, or commerce sales statistics. Anything that relates to content performance and how you get your online traffic and how you can maximize performance is what this is all about.

Key Benefits of a Digital Marketing Audit:

  • assess your analytics and discover what’s wrong with what you’re doing currently
  • find weaknesses in your website technically and in terms of user experience
  • assess your conversion funnel and the ability of your content to move visitors from impact to sales
  • analyze your significant, personalized unique value proposition and what you might do to improve it
  • find weaknesses in your content’s power to impact, engage and convince your audience
  • discover why your SEO strategy isn’t working and what can be done to turn it around
  • check rankings and assess your keyword strategy and copywriting effectiveness for Google rankings
  • discover content ideas that may give your business a boost and which assets you absolutely must build to compete and generate awareness
  • reviewing competitor’s strengths and weaknesses and what opportunities they are pursuing and capitalizing on
  • become aware of opportunities to rank, build epic content, and convert leads
  • become aware of new models of success such as excellent websites and content leaders
  • assessing your social media strategy and how it could contribute to digital marketing

The key to a good digital marketing audit is to assess your content. If you have a few broken links, your site’s running a little slow, or your calls to action aren’t aggressive enough, it’s good to know. However, it’s your content that’s the foundation of your success. This and your outreach strategy is where your focus needs to be.

If your unique value proposition and your content both suck, why not find out why? The sooner you get on the path to optimization and creating value for customers, the faster you’ll grow your profitability.

And with more, happier customers and higher profit, you’re bound to feel better yourself. Contact me now about a digital marketing audit. It’s the foundation of big successes ahead regardless of what industry you’re in. The fee for the complete assessment is $US 695.00

How to Choose the Best Marketing Consultant

Are You Finding the Right Consultant/Agency for Your Business?

Has the deluge of noise in digital marketing become too much for you to bear? Well, hang in there because all you might need is a few pointers and some enouragement to get some clarity.  Since marketing is pivotal to success now, picking the right consultant or agency is particularly important.

The right agency or consultant or agency will stand out through their plentiful questions that show they understand your business. They may be thought leaders.

They’ll also be more helpful and generous with insight, and they’ll show a willingness to learn and adapt to the actual needs/challenges you describe. On their website, you’ll understand their value proposition quickly and they will stand out as unique and capable.

Right off the bat, you’ve got some good indications, but you need to dig deeper.

The Key Business Asset – Your Agency or Consultant

The best won’t often be the wealthiest ones you speak with, however if they have a wealth of talented staff, good software, and other assets, it can make a difference.  Besides brains, energy, drive, and experience, what is it about them that will make them the most important business asset you’ll have? Let’s take a look.

Does your current marketing agency listen to you? Do they encourage you? Do they find the right solution, or just the ones they sell? Is their focus short term? Do you think they’re ready for the future?

Every Executive’s Challenge: How to Achieve Clarity

Your mind is frazzled and you’ve become entrenched in a losing position, so I thought I’d give you a simple, focused list of marketing services provider attributes, and a plan of action.

Expert Opinions: “Instead of understanding the buyer, and presenting a solution from a buyer’s perspective, too much emphasis is placed on the features and details of the product/service that’s being sold and on the credentials of the provider themselves.” — Richard Young of Pipeliner Sales

Having the Right Questions

  • do they have real expertise in the key areas you’re failing in?
  • can they provide a complete assessment so you know they understand your business, what is failing, and how they will fit in?
  • what is the cost vs revenue of their solution?
  • is their content marketing good enough?
  • are they an actual expert in their digital marketing field?
  • are they creative geniuses?
  • are they an expert in your field?
  • have they become a master in other client industries?
  • are they offering temporary or long term results?
  • what does their website/social activity indicate about them?
  • how will they add value?
  • are they up on the latest strategies and software?

Certainly, a track record of success, decades of experience and client testimonials can help. And complete money back guarantees are quite an incentive for cash strapped, nervous SMB owners. However, these would come after you’ve answered the basic “can do” abilities in the list above.

As a digital marketing services provider, it’s easy for me to see through the promotional tactics used to lure client prospects. The top ones involve hiding behind cool trendy web design, buzzwords, and “staff party photos.”

Perhaps the key is finding a modest provider with multiple skills/services who is willing to dedicate to your business. Most agencies can’t do that because of their massive overhead and a staff with a limited range of expertise. Yet, keeping up isn’t easy and agencies have a difficult time finding good people.

It’s wise to find a marketing provider with impressive skills and a willingness to become an expert in your field. Industry expertise is a saleable benefit for marketers. Technological expertise, thought leadership, and the ability to write persuasively and in an engaging manner can make a big difference in content strategy results for instance. Ask yourself whether this provider is going anywhere.

Your New 5 Point Plan of Action

1.  find a digital marketer with demonstrated skills and ask them to do a thorough digital marketing assessment
2.  assess their skill and knowledge of your industry
3.  listen to their questions – it tells you whether they understand your business and your needs
4.  build a digital marketing strategy and prioritize which channels will make a difference
5.  hire a digital marketer who is eager to dedicate themselves to your company

I hope this list of attributes of a dedicated, digital marketing provider helps you focus on what you need to do. Right now you’re probably feeling good so use this moment to move ahead, investigate and make a decision.

That’s the gist of good decision making. Slow down, be calm, find the essentials, and buy the services that match your actual needs.

If you have me conduct your digital marketing audit, I can explore and discover those missing gaps and what the causes are.  Your assessment is one great way to quieten all the noise.

Get focused and feeling good then contact me when you’re ready at 416 998 6246.

I’m looking forward to seeing you smile.

Content Personalization Software

Should you Personalize your Content for Each Visitor?

Trends happen. Content personalization is one of the most important and exciting trends in digital marketing in 2017. In 2018, it may be that personalization is a top factor in impact, engagement, and sales.  In a nutshell, this is about delivering unique customer content experiences and using it as a way to learn more about your customers.

It’s not easy to meet visitor’s demands and make digital marketing work in the era of extreme attention scarcity.  Yet we do have a way to create awesome, epic content experiences that make an impact.

That’s to use Content Personalization Software. Let’s take a good look at why you might want to use it.

If Customers Believe They’re Special — Maybe We Should Too

Artificial intelligence software can help with personalized content however, it’s a little pricey. This is why content personalization software is likely the right entry point to a massive shift in how you do marketing. Let’s discuss why and how content personalization will help your business. Powerful software combined with the strategies I cover in The SEO/Content Strategy Guide delivered could be a game changer for your business.

Content personalization has been around for a while. Today, they’re adding AI driven testing to speed up results. Personyze, Onespot, and Ezoic are a few notable solutions you can get familiar with to help you customize your content and grow your revenue.

Back in the year 2000, website visitor attention span was 12 seconds. Today it’s about 8 seconds! Visitors scan quick to see if your content is relevant

A Perfect Fit for Your Content Success

Here’s the real goal of your digital marketing process:

Build high volume visitors via SEO or PPC, identify the few visitors who really matter, then build high quality content to suit their needs personally.

I’m not going to say your content sucks.  However, would you agree that it could be better? Would you also agree that visitors likely are bouncing because they feel they’re wasting their time? Content engagement is crucial to Google rankings and conversion rate success and we can never be good enough.

Feeling a Little Dubious About Automating Insight?

3 Reasons Why Your Current Web Content Doesn’t Work

Number 1 Reason: Your content topics and presentation of them do little for 90% of your readers, including your top prospects. To discover those interests, you must test to find them. The personalization software speeds that process up, and can actually respond to each individual visitor. You can’t accomplish this any other way.

Typical site bounce rate: 80%.  Each of your visitors have their own unique interests so responding to them manually is impossible. With content personalization software, we can learn what each visitor wants based on the landing page they arrived at, the combination of content they did see, layouts, types of images, videos, data, downloads, copy, headings, keywords used, page load speed, their click path through your site, how long they engage with certain pages, and more.

The software can collect, process, and remember a lot about a particular visitor. And with some Artificial Intelligence learning, it can help us discover the best content paths overall, which could open up the volume of leads and sales you are hoping for.

Number 2 Reason: Your traffic is low volume and low quality. The few visitors you’re getting aren’t well-qualified visitors, just people surfing who stumbled on your site via some extraneous topic. You need better visitors and that’s done through PPC, organic search engine optimization and content optimization.

Number 3 Reason: You’re going it alone without fresh ideas, professional help, software, or a focused strategy. This is why most small business people avoid SEO and Content Strategy and digital marketing. If you’re unsure who to ask, just starting asking anyone and work your way through to the best content strategist.

Are You Getting the Results you Need?

Do you need New, more Relevant Content?

Or can you use what you already have? You can modify whatever you have if it’s appropriate. However, all this data below suggests you need content built for your best prospects.

A study conducted by OneSpot discovered that 87% of respondents reported that personally relevant branded content positively influences how they feel about a brand.

Personalization Software Advantages

The advantages of personalization software is impressive. You can tailor your content experience for each visitor, or visitors from a specific city, create custom promotions, and test constantly to improve your lead success. You can identify your most important visitors and serve the ideal content for them.

  • deeper engagement of visitors/customers
  • content sequencing
  • behavioral targeting
  • hooking your visitors on arrival better
  • lower cart abandonment
  • reduce wasted time/cost of ineffective content
  • create dynamic landing pages
  • perform multivariate tests
  • discover real KPIs
  • customized promotions
  • recommend relevant content
  • improve remarketing emails
  • improve socialmedia engagement
  • personalize your content and content marketing

The advantages of content personalization go further. When content is relevant, visitors are more likely to share on social media, more likely to create links to your site, and boost your authority and brand value to customers. And more content isn’t the goal. It’s creating the right content that matters that generates real sales.

Graphic Courtesy of Onespot.com

Onespot is just one provider of content personalization software. Have a look at their features and new developments at onestpot.com. Does content personalization really work? Delta Faucet boosted pageviews by 49%, created 4X more clicks on CTAs, and quadrupled on-site engagement.

Creating, designing, and managing a content strategy is hard work. But when you automate this and make it work for each individual visitor, you’re giving your value proposition a healthy booster shot.

This software could provide an excellent learning process for you too. We can conduct a content audit, measure key statistics, find the best targets/segments, create content for them, then continually optimize it to improve sales.

By using your CRM and analytics reporting, you can discover which content is generating the best results. And it won’t take long to improve your content and grow your visitors interest in you or your business.

Ezoic Ad Testing

Ezoic is an artificial ad testing software for publishers. However, they will soon provide a level of content testing too. They do this for FREE! If you’re a publisher who makes money off of ads, the Ezoic is a great choice.  By testing your content, and personalizing it using ezoic, you could increase your ad revenue significantly.

Content Personalization has been a big priority for several years now, and the pace is picking up considerably along with the arrival of more artificial intelligence marketing software. This is one more way I can add value to your marketing campaigns.

With all these strategies, software and opportunities available, you can create a superior market position and start giving the market leaders a rough time of it. You can be competitive and create a unique niche that competitors can’t mimic.

It’s time to take content strategy seriously by combining software with high quality content.

Marketing Agency San Diego Los Angeles San Francisco – Blueprint for Success

Understanding The Marketing Service Ecosystem

themarketingagency

If you’ve ever wanted to launch your own marketing agency, in San Diego, Los Angeles or Boston, you’ll be glad to know I’ve worked for those who have done it. They became quite wealthy and enjoyed fantastic exposure to the latest technology, ideas and had money to travle worldwide. There’s a lot of benefits.

If you like the idea, then Paul Roetzer’s new book The Marketing Agency Blueprint should be a vital and fascinating resource. And I might add that my new book and services might be part of your future too.

The Marketing Agency Blueprint is chock full of ideas, advice and resources on how to build a successful digital marketing agency. The market for marketing agency services is increasingly complex so this type of book is excellent for clarifying goals and building a plan of attack.

Just about everyone and their grandmother is launching a marketing company today, so if you’re serious, you’d better get a copy of this book. Roetzer describes a new type of agency that uses the best available media channels to win. He says pure play digital agencies will likely go out of business along with traditional agencies.

This is a disruptive, bold approach for marketing businesses, and I suspect it will require a good deal of confidence for many agency owners to implement his new era plan. Even if you don’t follow it, you’ll learn a good deal from this book.

The Marketing Agency Blueprint

What’s exciting about Roetzer’s treatise is its insight into the marketing services ecosystem. You’ll understand how marketing is changing and how agencies must evolve to excel in this era.  Roetzer emphasizes an agency’s willingness to be entrepreneurial, tech savvy, open to change, and execute faster than competitors as keys to success.

I would counter that excellent new business development strategies, powerful UVP, a relevant brandgiving, networking,  reaching influencerscustomer awareness, and excellence in choosing clients are vital. But you’ll find he does address some of these matters.

He says top agencies will pivot on the depth, versatility, and drive of their talent. Yet that discussion actually opens up the weakness of the book and some of his recommendations, as I’ll point out below. As much as I like a book, idea or venture, to not understand its weaknesses is unwise.

The Real Problem: Clients are Doing Things In-house

Roetzer doesn’t get into too much about how to get rid of the current nemesis —- the in-house specialista. In-house specialistas are replacing marketing agencies. They’re in the driver’s seat, have lots of time, inside knowledge of the client’s business, and the boss’s belief that in-house is the way to go.

Another issue is that clients are giving up on traditional advertising and turning more to integrated, multichannel marketing.  However, this book does guide you in how to become relevant again and build the confidence to really delve into clients mindset so you can “create” a new client out of one you’re losing your grip on.

What is his solution really? Hire versatile, skilled talent and use a marketing platform to provide solutions faster and more adeptly.

Hybrid Agency – Adapting to Provide the Ultimate Service

The book discusses how a new hybrid agency business model will guide successful new agencies. This isn’t really new, but I do think his book clarifies the matter.

In Chapter 2, he describes agency models and which attributes of them are worth saving.  Strangely, in Chapter 1, he suggests revenue production should replace billable hours as the payment model.  This bizarre reordering of Chapter materials is disorienting, but I’d advise skipping past Chapter 1 and come back to it later. He offers plenty of other disruptive ideas which you and your clients may or may not like.

In Chapter 3, a very good one, he discusses how to assess excellent talent which he dubs “Hybrid Pros.”  However, he doesn’t discuss how to motivate and compensate Hybrid pros. This last point hurts his credibility a lot. Are we supposed to keep compensation strategy old school while we change everything else? How does that make sense? It’s almost as though he doesn’t like where his own disruptive, innovative system is leading, or that his own employees will be reading his book.

Here’s Some More Money. But I Don’t Want Money

Bait business
Old School Motivation is Going the Way of the Suit and Tie

I’ll help Paul out on this one. If you’re going to motivate employees to learn, perform, be creative and engaged, keep them from jumping ship, and dedicated to the “team is everything” theme, you have to compensate them and let them create a work life that lets them access 100% of their potential.

Star Hybrid Pros will want a good salary but they want other benefits too.

Employees and their specific lifestyle, learning style, desire for experience and engagement, and unique motivational rewards have to underpin  your business model.

Such incentivizing is certainly part of Google’s business model and is how they foster creativity and imagination.

Optimally, you have to give them freedom to add value, grow and feel empowered. This way, they will generate the revenue you’ll need to pay them. Basically, they’ll pay themselves and you’ll get a sizable cut.

There are 7 more chapters including building a scalable infrastructure, controlling the sales funnel, and optimizing inbound marketing strategy. There’s plenty more insights from Roetzer to filter through. I’m going to explore all of it further chapter by chapter because I think it answers a lot of questions, and stimulates interesting thought on how to run a business today.

The Marketing Agency Blueprint is a good read for anyone in business, even those who don’t need a marketing agency.

I hope we’ll speak soon to collaborate to help you build the most cost effective yet productive digital marketing agency.  Let’s talk now at 416 998 6246.

If the coffee shop for you isn’t there, they don’t want to be found! And while you might find Starbucks shops and McDonalds Cafes galore in most cities intown or on the road, the most popular and prevalent, you should check out other shops and bistros for a special organic or Costa Rica flavor.

Some independent coffee shops offer exceptional atmospheres, fun, relaxing and with views!  Find one below, local to your specific geolocation.

Where are the most popular coffee drinks?
