Buyers, Sellers, mortgage agents and Realtors might not be visualizing 2026 well enough.  Visualizing your outlook as an agent is essential to preparation and motivation.

Because at some point, with lower mortgage rates, buying and selling, and refinancing become viable again. That’s going to rev up the housing market considerably. Pessimism reigns right now, but not for long.  The key to the change is:

  • lower interest rates and mortgage rates (the FED will have to lower the rates due to political pressure and slowing inflation)
  • the economy is picking up with lower unemployment
  • investment into the US is increasing creating more funds for home building and home purchases
  • home prices are falling, in some states significantly
  • tax reduction leaves more money for purchases
  • regulations are decreasing allowing for more home building

This year unfortunately, we’re at near-record low sales given how buyers can’t or won’t buy right now due to the tariff uncertainties. And sellers are demanding their price or taking their home off the market until prices improve.  Maybe home prices won’t rise, but when sales grow in 2026, commissions will be wonderful.

Being visible online puts you into a context of buying/selling in this modern era, positioning you as a credible advisor and transaction manager. People believe what they see which is why digital marketing is so effective. When you’re live on Google, Facebook or Instagram, collecting subscribers and emails, receiving phone calls (the best) you’re able to make the person to person connection. They hear your voice, understand your intent to help them, and build their intent to buy/sell.

They’re online with intent with specific questions and you need to be the one to answer.
